Our Mission
At Squarene, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to understand and enjoy chemistry. Our mission is to make chemistry accessible, engaging, and rigorous, whether you're a student taking your first chemistry class, preparing for a high school exam, tackling AP Chemistry, or exploring science through hands-on labs at home. We go beyond memorization; we teach students to think like scientists, apply the scientific method, and build the confidence they need for college-level science.
Who We Are
We are a team of experienced chemistry educators passionate about helping students succeed in one of the most challenging science subjects. With years of experience teaching high school and college-level chemistry, we’ve seen firsthand the struggles students face and we’ve developed proven strategies to help them overcome those challenges.

👋 Hi, I’m Linah!
I’m a chemistry tutor and college professor. I currently teach General and Organic chemistry. I love making tough topics easier to understand and helping students feel confident in chemistry. Over the past decade, I’ve taught and mentored students at every level, from middle school through college, in classrooms, labs, and online.
My background goes beyond teaching. I’ve worked as a Research Scientist in drug discovery and process development. I have a PhD in Organic chemistry from Purdue University and a B.S. in Biochemistry Union College, NY.
At Squarene, I work with other professional tutors and educators to make chemistry easy and accessible for students. My goal is to help students headed for STEM careers to sail through chemistry seamlessly and build the knowledge and skills they need for college and beyond.
